Did you know the City has a program dedicated to helping homeless people living in Palm Desert?
The City, in partnership with City Net, a service provider for homelessness, provides street outreach and engagement services at locations throughout Palm Desert. Available services include referrals related to mental health, substance abuse, medical needs, housing assistance, and more.
Residents, businesses, and visitors are the “eyes and ears” of our community. If you see someone who appears to need services, please contact the City so that we can connect them with our homelessness professionals (always dial 9-1-1 in an emergency).
How do I get City Net to help someone on the streets:
- Use the Palm Desert In Touch mobile phone application.
- Print a copy of our City Net rack card and contact us when needed.
- Email information, including location and description of the individual to Homeless@palmdesert.gov.
Palm Desert In Touch is the City of Palm Desert's easy-to-use mobile and online service request system. Residents, business owners, and visitors to our city can quickly report issues, such as graffiti, directly to the City.
The easiest way to use Palm Desert In Touch is with our handy mobile phone application. Available on the Apple App Store and on Google Play, simply download the application and start submitting, no personal information is required.
Palm Desert In Touch can also be used online! To report a problem from a computer, select the button below and the web version of the application will open.
* If the issue is a public safety emergency, please call 911.
